We are doing wonderfully - Kelsie is such a happy content baby. She sleeps a lot, and when she's awake she just likes to look around at what is going on around her. We are very blessed! Madison and Annika love to hold her and show her off to friends, but mostly they're just enjoying the warm weather and playing outside and in the pool LOL!

Here are a few recent pictures.

Introducing Kelsie McKenna Grace

Clearly I need to watch my words!

At 10:58pm on July 13th I posted this on the blog:

Okay - Kelsie can officially come now, she has a seat ;)

and 7 hours later my water broke! Kelsie was born on Tuesday, July 14th at 10:35pm. Unfortunatly with my water breaking, nothing else happened so I was induced that afternoon. Contractions started at 6:30pm and she was born 4 hours later - very quick, just like Annika!

She was 8 pounds and a half ounce and 19.75" long. Her hair seemed red at birth, now it's much blonder, I think she'll be strawberry blonde - but we'll see. She's doing wonderful, very content and sleeps a lot. We've hardly even heard her cry. We came home from the hospital this evening and are glad to all be going to bed under the same roof!

Pictures to come in the next post.

All About Madison

Madison has been bringing home school things for the past few weeks as her last day is Monday, June 30th and they don't want to flood the backpack on the last day!

I thought this was a cute write up she did, and thought a few of you would find it especially entertaining.

Madison's Recital

Madison's dance recital was on Thursday, she did very well and really enjoyed herself. She is in Primary Ballet this year. Right now she's unsure of what she'll be doing next year. If she continues in dance it will be Grade 2 Ballet and Hip Hop 2. She also wants to do gymnastics again and swimming and well, you can't do it all.
Below is a video of her recital.

Just a few random pictures from the Teddy Bear Picnic and Annika's soccer game last week.

The Countdown ...

Today was my last day at work - the countdown is truly on!
I've been at work for 5 1/2 years and have made some fabulous friends over that time, I was a little (really little LOL) sad to leave but I know I'll be able to keep in touch.

I was showered with gifts today and taken out to a fantastic lunch, I didn't expect any of it and was truly surprised. Thank you everyone :) Now to enjoy the summer with Madison and Annika and get ready for Kelsie's arrival!!

We had Annika's 5th Birthday Party last weekend. She had a lot of friends over and she was so thrilled to have her daycare buddies come to her house. I think all of the girls had a great time.

Now we're planning Madison's 8th Birthday Party - I can't believe my baby is turning 8! She's having a sleepover and some how a "sleepover with a few close friends" has turned in to 10 eight year olds sleeping in my basement. Allan is sure this is when I will go into labour. God I hope not LOL!

Annika's dance recital was on Thursday evening. It was her second recital and she did great. No nerves at all, she already is talking about next year! Madison's recital is this upcoming Wednesday.
